Alicia Cattoni studied at Brooks Institute of Photography where she earned the Sergio Aragonés Film Studies Scholarship. She gained experience at DreamWorks, SKG/Paramount Pictures, and with Jennifer Siebel Newsom's Girls’ Club Entertainment, LLC (now known as “The Representation Project”). She graduated from Brooks with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film & Video Production, receiving the film department's Achievement Award, their highest distinction. Subsequently, she worked on national commercials and for Al Gore’s Current TV, LLC (now Al Jazeera America). Eventually working as a Production Coordinator for the 13-episode History Channel Series, “Boneyard: The Secret Lives of Machines," for NBC Sports, and Speed Channel/Lucas Oil's Championship Off Road Racing series nationwide.
Alicia also ventured into journalism, traveling to Iran with Rabbi Lynn Gottlieb and in collaboration with the Fellowship of Reconciliation USA in New York. She contributed to various independent films and served as the Ventura Family YMCA's Marketing & Communication Director, where she executive produced Annual Campaign videos for their 2015 and 2016 fundraising efforts. She has also made over 30 commercials for companies such as Facebook/Meta Platforms, Inc., AT&T, and W.W. Norton & Company.
Her recent work as a Creative Director includes photographs in publications such as Food & Home Magazine, HGTV, The Landscape Library, and for Paul Hendershot Design, Inc. Currently, she freelances as a Creative Director and a photographer from the greater Chicago, Illinois and Los Angeles, CA areas.
